The total actions of the Ministry of Culture in Lorca for the period 2011-2013 amounted to 6, 15 million euros
Under Secretary of Culture, Mercedes del Palacio, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Murcia, Pedro Antonio Cruz, the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, today launched the Recovery Plan for Heritage Cultural Lorca, prepared by the Ministry of Culture.
The total actions of the Ministry of Culture in Lorca for the period 2011-2013 amounted to 6, 15 million euros.
The Ministry proposed to develop a Recovery Plan for the Cultural Heritage of Lorca as a tool for coordinating government and planning interventions.
Although, unless the Parador de Turismo, the affected goods are not state-owned and therefore the competition for the Community heritage Autonomous conservation and duty to their owners (Ayuntamiento de Lorca and Murcia-Cartagena Bishopric, mostly ), we need coordinated action by the three governments, enabling extraordinary budgets and seek resources from the private sector.
The work of the Master Plan was initiated after receiving the Autonomous basic data on damage assessment.
It contains a detailed analysis of damage, description and schedule of necessary actions, assessing the costs and the associated economic and financial study, with analysis of sources of funding.
Provides for the establishment of a Commission of Control and Supervision will work over the next five years to find the resources and channel predicted by the plan.
Objectives
The objectives of the Plan are:
A better understanding of the affected buildings
A study of the pathology.
Establishment of a program, prioritized, quantified and evaluated economically, of actions, studies and analysis performed.
Study of restoration and rehabilitation needs, detailing the work and tasks necessary to develop and economic quantification.
Study of the needs of conservation and maintenance, detailing the tasks to be performed.
Proposed funding sources for necessary actions.
Content
The plan also contains records of the various buildings individualized members of the Historical Heritage of Lorca, indicating the previous analysis of pathologies (cracking, slumping, deformations, etc.). Characterization and composition of plants, materials and structural elements that integrate and up the building, photographic documentation and collection of planimetric documentation, interpretation of damage, study, proposals for intervention and programming valued.
The Plan sets out the criteria based on a prioritization of interventions and orders on a schedule of interventions.
It also provides for the creation of a Monitoring and Control Commission to operate for the next five years to find the resources and channel predicted by the plan.
