Education Minister, Ángel Gabilondo, visited, along with Minister of Education, Training and Employment of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Sotoca Constantine, and the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, schools affected by the movements Seismic May 11 in the town of Lorca.
Education Minister, Ángel Gabilondo, and President of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, signed a cooperation agreement to repair the damage to educational infrastructure affected by the earthquake in the amount of two million euros.
This agreement aims at the cooperation of the Government to cover expenses arising as a result of the replacement of school equipment, furniture and school equipment, as well as repairs to the buildings of schools supported by public funds located in the town of Lorca.
The formalization of the payment by the Ministry of Education will be held in two phases, each amounting to 1,000,000 euros, after certification of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
After the meeting the Minister of Education with the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, and the mayor of Lorca, the town council, the IES Gabilondo Ramón Arcas visited Mecca and the Regional Public Center San Fernando.
