The Union of Professionals and Self-Employed de Murcia (Murcia UPTA) wishes to express its appreciation for the favorable resolution of the General Treasury of Social Security to defer the fees presented in the Provincial de Murcia for the self affected by the earthquake of Lorca, but considered essential to a complete exemption for the suspension of contract workers, since in the end will have to pay fees, and "autonomous victims still do not have enough economic activity and the recovery will be slow and late "said Mamen Martinez, coordinator of UPTA Murcia.
A total of 279 applications resolved favorably, 139 workers correspond to the Special Scheme for Self, which is 50%.
The General Treasury of Social Security will allow repayment periods of up to 12 months and whose period of admission fees may be expanded will correspond to the three months following the date of the resolution, having started computing in May for the liquidation of self-employed.
These payments will not have fees or interest.
From Murcia UPTA grateful that the government take into account, in equal proportion, the self-employed in order to "prevent those who have managed to stay after the disaster have to close their businesses and unsubscribe activity," concludes the coordinator Organization.
