The Governing Council has agreed to grant 3.6 million euros for the project of improvement and adaptation of the waste treatment plant in Lorca, driven by the Ministry of the Presidency.
The purpose of this work is to increase the treatment capacity of the plant to ensure proper operation, and adapting existing ancillary facilities to the new needs.
This actucación, which runs the regional government through TRAGSA company belongs to the first phase of a series of projects being considered for the overall improvement of the urban waste plant Lorca.
The proposed works involve the construction of vessels for receiving and processing as well as the extension and improvement of ancillary facilities and the provision of services and urbanization.
The total budget for this action in the plant's waste amounts to 3,681,600 euros Lorca, to be distributed in two annuities: 2011 with 1,910,534 euros and 1,771,065 euros in 2012.
