The Governing Council has authorized the Ministry of Finance to accept a donation of 853,233 euros Enagas SA to help rebuild the public school Alfonso X el Sabio de Lorca, affected by the earthquakes suffered by the municipality on 11 May.
Enagas The company contacted the regional government to provide support in the reconstruction and normalization of Lorca and was especially interested in education and infrastructure repair.
Therefore, the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment agreed that the donation was intended to repair the school Alfonso X.
The Board of Directors approved Enagás its meeting on June 20 the award of this amount for the Community to undertake the repair of this school.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance Department is the competent regional Administration to request approval of this donation to exceed 30,000 euros.
