This morning has passed a new set of aid amounting to 26,250 euros, for the first time watching a series of extensions of repayable advances for rental housing.
The Spokesman of the Communication of the City of Lorca, María del Carmen Ruiz, has been reported that the city council has approved this morning by the Local Government Board, a new aid package for earthquake victims Lorca last 11 May.
Jódar Ruiz has stated that it is a battery of 24 grants spread over 5 repayable advances, which account for 5220 euros, and 13 grants to comply with basic needs.
The latter are aimed at families who have lost their housing because of the earthquake on May 11.
In today's Governing Board has approved spending a total of 13,200 euros in this regard.
This amount includes a total of 13 grants to as many families, whose numbers range between 800 euros and 1,500 euros, a distribution based on the number of family members.
Jódar Ruiz explained that the Board of Governors also approved the first character extensions refundable aid for access to a rented house.
In this sense, 6 applications have been approved involving a final amount of 7830 euros.
Recall that the extension in time of these grants was approved just 7 days ago by the City through two motions to be put on the table in the session of the Governing Board.
These grants extended for another 3 months for the cover provided at first by way of repayable advances for rental housing.
This will respond to the needs expressed by victims.
Communication Spokesperson stated that the City has made it easier for concerned citizens to access these grants, since it has been expanded from 1,300 to 1,600 euros the income threshold for access to aid.
Communication Spokesperson has made balance of the aid approved so far by the council, based on criteria approved unanimously by the various meetings of the Bureau for Development.
In this regard it is noteworthy that until today has been given the green light to a total of 564 grants for basic necessities and 163 repayable advances to meet the payment of rent.
Funds committed to the Bureau for Development today amount to a total of 1,454,480 euros.
623,950 remain reserved to meet the needs of victims
It should be remembered that has waged a quantity of 500,000 euros for Ceclor, through their professional activities to make the recovery of economic activity and trade.
It is also planned to book a total of 623,950 euros to meet the requests that may come from many families who have lost their homes and have not yet requested aid.
From the city council recalled that all citizens who wish to have available information points and advice to the victim that the City remains enabled in the Cultural Center of the City.
It helps to remember that these are paid by the fund that manages and organizes the Solidarity Committee, based on proposals and decisions set out within it.
