The Councillors of Education and Culture of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel and Sandra Martinez reported that the city council has reopened this morning study hall that serves all of Lorca in the Cultural Centre.
This service had to be stopped on 11 May because of earthquakes, and today has reopened.
Note that the basement that houses the student lounge of consideration was damaged due to earthquakes, but had to be evacuated as a precautionary measure to avoid any type of incident.
Now, having proven the safety of the building and consolidation of different tasks, it will regain normal use of the room.
The City Council recalled that this service was temporarily transferred to the university campus, a task for which the transferring of the furniture of the room to the facility.
From now resets the room using the usual time of 9 am to 9 pm without interruption.
This room has 120 seats of study and is frequented by students and opposition, especially at exam time.
In these cases the City provides longer hours, which sometimes cover until 2 am.
