The city council has approved so far borne 1,536,043 euros in aid from the funds of the Bureau for Development.
The Local Government has given a free hand this morning to a series of grants for an aggregate of 55,313 euros.
Communication Spokesperson of the City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, has been reported that the city council has approved this morning by the Local Government Board, a new package of aid for earthquake victims Lorca last 11 May.
Jódar Ruiz stated that it is a battery of 44 grants spread over 7 repayable advances, accounting for 8490 euros and 14 assists to meet basic needs.
The latter are aimed at families who have lost their housing because of the earthquake last May 11.
In today's Governing Board has approved to allocate a total of 15,500 euros in this regard.
This amount includes a total of 14 grants to as many families, the amount ranges between 800 euros and 1,500 euros, a distribution based on the number of family members.
So far, the number of families have received aid for basic needs amount to 591, which means that the aid has gone to 1,758 Lorca.
Jódar Ruiz explained that the Board of Governors approved further extensions of the second series of character-refundable aid for access to a rented house.
In this sense we have approved 23 applications involving a final amount of 29,823 euros.
Communication Spokesperson noted in this connection that "the City Council request that records payments for already approved by the Joint Commission shall become effective as soon as possible. Communication Spokesperson stated that the City has made it easier for concerned citizens to access these grants, since it has been expanded from 1,300 to € 1,600 income threshold for access to aid, a concept for which is already benefiting victims .
Municipal aid, in detail
Communication Spokesperson has made balance of the aid approved to date by the City, based on criteria approved unanimously by the various meetings of the Bureau for Development.
In this regard it is noteworthy that even today the official figures are as follows:
Aid to basic needs:
591 approved applications.
1758 beneficiaries.
Total: 655,300 euros.
Grants for repayable advances for rent and extension thereof:
205 applications approved (191 in advance and 29 extensions).
Total amount: € 264,483.
Since the city council recalled that all citizens who wish to have at their disposal the information and advice points to the victim that the City remains enabled in the Cultural Center of the City.
It should be remembered that these aids are paid by the fund that manages and organizes the Bureau for Development, based on proposals and decisions set out within it.
