The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar believes that the allegations made by the mayor of Lorca at the Government Office not help at all to improve the situation of Lorca and only aim to divert attention to errors and lack of rigor with the City Council is acting.
Tovar González recalled that of the 437 emergency grant applications submitted by the City, 50% entered the last three days to do so, and a quarter of them were incomplete.
Among them were 139 who were simply written to the City Council directed neighbors without even attach it to the Mayor resolution giving its approval.
Because of this, the government delegate Jódar asked not to try to confuse Lorca, "which pretty much have already their situation," and admits track procedures were slow and often went wrong.
For that reason, since government delegation sent him a letter reminding the deadlines and legal requirements to prevent many citizens are left without aid, which are none other than those published in the Order published in the Official Gazette of June 3 Aid for emergency expenses, a document that the City should know perfectly.
Thus, one can not confuse the request made by the delegate of the Government that will present all the actions were justified emergencies, although some was missing a document, thus made by the council, which came to send requests citizens which was not accompanied by any written or proceeding, even valued, or even handwritten had not time admission.
Despite this problem, not attributable to the State Administration, the Government of Spain is planning to review the status of these 139 requests from neighbors, so that the management of the City Council does not end up hurting them by their lack of rigor.
Finally, Gonzalez Tovar question whether to seek solutions to problems and bring investment is "entangled", what adjective should be put to bad handling of those municipal records and the tangle of statements made about them by the mayor and some councilors of his administration?
