For repayable advances basic needs and the city council has approved so far € 1,005,343, plus € 43,769 in aid to meet the needs of wounded and deceased relatives by earthquakes, 70,000 € for the implementation of the new headquarters of the food market and 500,000 € to boost local trade.

Communication Spokesperson of the City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, has been reported that the city council has approved this morning by the Local Government Board, a new package of aid for earthquake victims Lorca last 11 May.
Jódar Ruiz noted that it is a battery of 30 grants repayable advances spread over 18, accounting for 23,169 euros and 12 assists to meet basic needs.
The latter are aimed at families who have lost their housing because of the earthquake last May 11.
In today's Governing Board has approved to allocate a total of 12,800 euros in this regard.
This amount includes a total of 12 grants to as many families, the amount ranges between 800 euros and 1,500 euros, a distribution based on the number of family members.
So far, the number of Lorca earthquake victims that has received aid for basic needs amount to 611, which means that the aid has reached 1812 Lorca.
Jódar Ruiz explained that the Board of Governors approved further extensions of the fourth series of character-refundable aid for access to a rented house.
In this sense we have approved 11 applications involving a final amount of 14,445 euros.
Communication Spokesperson stated that the City has made it easier for concerned citizens to access these grants, since it has been expanded from 1,300 to € 1,600 income threshold for access to aid, a concept for which is already benefiting victims .
Municipal aid, in detail
Communication Spokesperson has made balance of the aid approved to date by the City, based on criteria approved unanimously by the various meetings of the Bureau for Development.
In this regard it is noteworthy that even today the official figures are as follows:
Aid to basic needs:
611 approved applications.
1812 beneficiaries.
Total: 676,500 euros.
Grants for repayable advances for rent and extension thereof:
254 applications approved (190 in advance and 64 extensions).
Total amount: € 328.843.40.
Since the city council recalled that all citizens who wish to have at their disposal the information and advice points to the victim that the City remains enabled in the Cultural Center of the City.
It should be remembered that these aids are paid by the fund that manages and organizes the Bureau for Development, based on proposals and decisions set out within it.
