The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, announced today it has gone the last convoy of Emergency Military Unit (UME), which was in Lorca, after being dismantled the camp Torrecilla.
It has taken the latest materials that this unit has provided for the proper maintenance of the camp.
Tovar González highlighted the extraordinary work done by the EMU in the first hours after the earthquake, in which the first troops arrived, for over five months.
And it was well until the last moment the camp, which have actively providing tents and much of the site as well as his own work to enable maintenance.
Moreover, the government delegate pointed out that the camp was set up to meet urgent for all those people who were homeless or hers was severely damaged after the earthquake of May 11.
And he praised the professionalism of the Military Unit Emrgencias, through which were resolved quickly many emergency situations that Lorca had to live.
