The only motion passed with the votes of only PP has been urging the Autonomous Community to continue making improvements in schools with all the guarantees of seismic safety, as has been done so far.
All motions filed by the three municipalities of the municipal council of Lorca have been approved unanimously, although some of them have been tempered by technical issues (like not specify the creation of a roundabout at the Highway Caravaca).
The only motion approved only with votes from the PP and the PSOE and IU opposition has been posed an amendment calling for the Autonomous Region to continue making improvements in schools with all the guarantees of seismic safety as has been done so far.
In this sense, the Councillor for Education, Francisco Montiel, explained that the Regional Government is making a significant effort by which security is guaranteed Lorca students in all schools that are performing.
In addition, Montiel recalled that already in the last legislature made a major investment in educational infrastructure and is expected to make large investments to repair the damage in earthquakes, which among other things, no doubt ensure safety in buildings are not currently using or creating new ones.
