The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, today has been directed in writing to the colonel of the Emergency Military Unit, once the presence of it in Lorca because of earthquakes, to congratulate and thank "the work developed by the military at your command. "
González Tovar states in writing that the EMU members "have always acted in the most diligent, have carried out work aimed at all times the good citizen and have given an example of dedication to others."
The delegate places on record "of what this year I have been told many times by different people: its creation (the EMU) has unquestionably been a success."
Finally, says that his performance on the occasion of the earthquakes in Lorca "has allowed us to get to know better the preparation, delivery, and worth the sacrifice of military members of the EMU, qualities that from the moment the population moved a sense of shelter and security and helped to mitigate the consequences of earthquakes. "
