SUMMARY LORCA 6 MONTHS AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE:
1164 homes (where they lived about 3,000 people) have been demolished in Lorca damage after earthquakes.
The total area demolished equivalent to 17 football fields (164,458 m2).
Grants approved by the City Council based on the Bureau for Development funds: 1,671,907.41 Euros, delivered to 907 families.
Until today been given the green light to a total of 627 grants for basic needs and 280 repayable advances.
In addition, the Solidarity Committee has approved an aid of 500,000 euros has been given to traders and businessmen (Ceclor and Chamber of Commerce) for the revival of the sector and has allocated € 70,000 for the preparation of the new site of the Plaza de Supplies.
Very worrying situation: 139 demolition records were rejected by the Delegation of the Government.
Positions have been approached with the Commissioner, is working on the issue in a coordinated manner and are confident that commitments are met.
These 139 buildings, which account for 492 homes.

Payments of the Joint Commission:
The City paid within 48 hours the money transferred for rent subsidies (€ 48,240.81) for applications approved at the first meeting of the Joint Commission.
According to information provided by the CARM, this administration has also proceeded to the payment of aid for rehabilitation, which assumes that you have paid 100% of the aid approved at the first meeting of the Commission.
On the second payment: the National Government has already transferred its share to the CARM, which is processed in turn their part.
City Council has not received anything for this money.
The third payment, according to CARM has not arrived yet.

HERITAGE:
The total cost of the recovery of Lorca's historical heritage is almost 50 million euros, but so far only the following actions are clear:
Collegiate Church of St. Patrick: almost 3 million euros.
CajaMurcia direct running.
Church of San Cristobal in direct implementation by the Generalitat Valenciana (850,000 €).
Monastery of Poor Clares: 2 million euros forecast directly executed by the Central Union of Irrigation.
Torre del Ram: In direct implementation by the Ministry of Culture
Works heritage building (NO REHABILITATION):
Emergency Actions: Work carried out by the municipality amounting to 7 million euros (requested the grant to the Government of Spain but have not yet reached):
Guevara Palace, San Antonio Porch and sections of wall.
Paid by the City Project and the execution of the works will be executed in the City with the money that has already been transferred from the 1%-Ministry of Cultural Development, total € 1.7 million.
Church of St. Matthew: In direct implementation by the Ministry of Development
Aid for Trade:
So far only integrated Hostelor restaurateurs have received little help from the region.
All other businesses not eligible for direct aid to rehabilitation because they are not approved by the Government of Spain.
The last Royal Decree covers only 8,000 euros for those with insurance, which makes no sense because the Consortium should cover who had insurance and the State to assist those who do not have (which are 60% of businesses damaged).
The City Council has opened a new food market and the Bureau for Development has set aside 500,000 euros to manage with Ceclor and Chamber of Commerce incentives.

The aid to be able to convey to citizens through economic resources that have come to the town from different parts of Spain and Europe for the realization of solidarity events are channeled and managed through the Bureau for Development.
It is an entity composed of all political parties of Lorca, and Caritas, Red Cross, Office of the Government, Autonomous Community, Ecuador Consulate, Embassy of Morocco, platforms and representatives of affected citizens.
