The presidential advisor, Manuel Campos, said today that security and emergency services acting in Lorca as a result of the disaster "have shown their high effectiveness in meeting preparation and the largest catastrophe in the Region of Murcia".
Campos made the remarks after a meeting with the chief work of the Third Battalion Emergency Intervention in the Emergency Military Unit (BIEM III), Lieutenant Colonel Juan Carlos Olalla, to assess the performance in the established safety device the city of Lorca as a result of earthquakes and the work done in the camp of the turret, which hosted for months to victims of earthquakes.
