The collection is the result of input from members of this group of knights fighting for the universality of Charles V.
The president of the Royal Association of Knights of the Monastery of Yuste, Clement Martin Muñoz, has delivered this morning at the First Deputy Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, a contribution of 6,000 euros, as a result of donations from the members of this entity , to be credited to the account of the Mesa Partnership for those affected by the May 11 earthquake.
Montiel thanked this collective contribution to help Lorca who are suffering and pointed out that through this type of contributions that are being used to cover the basic needs of the victims.
The Solidarity Committee has already provided assistance to 638 families for basic needs, 295 to families for rent advances and extension thereof, and other assistance to care for families of serious injuries and deaths due to earthquakes
As you may recall the Bureau for Development is the agency that the mayor created to facilitate transparency, control of income and expenditure of the donations received by the City Council after the May 11 earthquake, in addition to deciding which lines of assistance articulate with these contributions.
