This is achieved by raising the holding of an exhibition of watercolors by artist Fulgencio Saura Murcia Mira.
November 24, 2011.
The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, received this morning the President of the Cultural Association Nusayr Ben Musa, the town of Abanilla, Yagües Manuel, who has delivered a solidarity aid.
Martinez Navarro explained that this group is a nonprofit organization whose purposes are essentially cultural, as a result of the disaster suffered in Lorca as a result of earthquakes that occurred last May, and given its dimensions, considered that in this case had to be taken by the Association an initiative that supports collaboration, albeit modestly, and thereby put our grain of sand in solidarity with those affected.
The Association took the initiative to raise funds and for that we sought the assistance of the artist Fulgencio Saura Murcia Look, part of this Association, who was given without hesitation to work with these purposes, donating to this 18 watercolors that he had asked , thereby giving once again, proof of his generosity and selflessness.
We proceeded to frame the watercolor to the preparation of a program containing the same.
Once sold it managed to raise the amount of € 4,000, which amount has been delivered this morning to the town to contribute to the goals of solidarity that are being devoted to the criteria that the Bureau considers most appropriate for Development.
