The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca, today visited the Education Centre and Primary Alfonso X of Lorca, rebuilt after the earthquake damage and which have invested more than € 850,000 has fully funded the Enagás.
The Minister, accompanied by the secretary general of Enagás, Rafael Piqueras, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, toured the facilities of the center and found that "has undergone a major refurbishment," which has involved various measures in facades and roofs, partitions, interior partitions, wall coverings and ceilings, painting, carpentry, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electricity.
It has also installed new lighting and ventilation screens and has repaired the damaged structure in both the ground floor and the top of the center.
Sotoca thanked the "efforts and solidarity of Enagás in the full recovery of this school" and recalled that "this work is in addition to 12 other emergency works but the regional government has undertaken this summer," which involves an investment more than 7 million euros.
After the earthquake, the company offered its collaboration Enagás Murcia for reconstruction and normalization of Lorca and showed special interest in allocating their contribution to repair damage to educational infrastructure.

Sotoca Constantine said that "Lorca marked the beginning of this term and is a priority for the Ministry of Education, which will continue to work hard to regain the educational heritage of the municipality."
