The aid approved by the Bureau for Development reached EUR 1,756,677.41, and it is estimated that already benefiting more than 2,900 Lorca.
Communication Spokesperson of the City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, has been reported that the city council has approved this morning by the Local Government Board, a new package of aid for earthquake victims Lorca last 11 May.
Ruiz stated that it is a battery of 37 grants repayable advances spread over 26, accounting for 38,630 euros and 11 assists to meet basic needs.
The latter are aimed at families who have lost their housing because of the earthquake last May 11.
In today's Governing Board has approved to allocate a total of 13,400 euros in this regard.
This amount includes a total of 11 grants to as many families, the amount ranges between 800 euros and 1,500 euros, a distribution based on the number of family members.
So far, the number of families affected by earthquakes Lorca which has received aid for basic needs amount to 649, which means that the aid has gone to 1,939 Lorca.
Jódar Ruiz explained that the Board of Governors also approved a new set of character extensions refundable aid for access to a rented house.
In this sense we have approved 10 applications involving a final amount of 11,432 euros.
Communication Spokeswoman recalled that the City has made it easier for concerned citizens to access these grants, since it has been expanded from 1,300 to € 1,600 income threshold for access to aid, a concept for which is already benefiting victims .

Communication Spokeswoman recalled that the City of Lorca opens today and also next Monday afternoon the grant application points of the Cultural Center for those affected by earthquakes.
The Consistory service reinforces the Cultural Center at the increase in requests by the closing date for rental assistance, furniture, rehabilitation and reconstruction.
In this sense, the Consistory has reinforced the points of applications for assistance for those affected by earthquakes, located at the Cultural Center of the City.
Jódar Ruiz noted that the rental assistance and replacement of equipment established by Decree-Law may request up this afternoon, while on rehabilitation and reconstruction can be claimed until next Monday.

321 applications approved.
Total amount: € 420,136.79.
Attention to serious injuries and families who had died from earthquakes:
€ 45,140.62
Economic assistance to boost trade (for the Bureau of Trade):
€ 570,000
Since the city council recalled that all citizens who wish to have at their disposal the information and advice points to the victim that the City remains enabled in the Cultural Center of the City.
It should be remembered that these aids are paid by the fund that manages and organizes the Bureau for Development, based on proposals and decisions set out within it.
