Communication Spokesperson of the City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, informed that the Bureau for Development has agreed to open a new line of rent subsidies to meet exceptional circumstances.

The Bureau for Development, initiated by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, unanimously approved a proposal to this effect, in order to help these families to afford to pay the rent.
For its development down the same general criteria that the aid provided by Royal Decree for rent, with the reasons and monitored by the municipal social services and covering a period of 4 to 6 months maximum per beneficiary family
It should be remembered that the requirements to qualify for this new line of support have already been approved by the Local Government Board.
Will be from Monday December 5 when assistance may be requested regular schedule at the point of citizen services enabled by the Consistory Municipal Cultural Center.
The requirements are:
Not having livable housing.
Lack of sufficient financial means to rent housing and social and family circumstances do not give access to rental assistance Decree DG Land and Housing in the Region of Murcia
Have supporting documentation or information of any administration on the occupation of distressed housing.
As a general threshold of household income is set at 1,600 euros, will address the uniqueness of large families, disabled and / or dependents, provided it is justified the need in prior social studies.
The rental assistance may be extended under the same terms, four months, provided there are funds in the joint table for this particular measure and this extension is to solve the housing situation of the family unit.
After resolving the application file for rental assistance, recipients are required to justify the use of aid.
