The City of Lorca celebrates on Saturday December 17 from 12:00 h in the Plaza of Spain, the act of discovery of a plaque in tribute to the groups that helped in the recovery of the city after the earthquake of May 11, and those who died as a result of earthquakes.

The city council, as it should be recalled, replaced the ceremony of titles and distinctions of the city held each November 23 to mark the feast of the patron of the city, San Clemente, for this event.

The City Council has invited all socioeconomic groups and municipal officials to attend the event, extending this invitation to all who wish to Lorca.
