The Regional Executive has approved the procurement of the works projects included in the general sanitation collectors wastewater fennel and Hoya, in the town of Lorca.
These collectors allow the collection of wastewater from these villages and driving to the treatment plant of La Hoya to be treated and reused.
These works will solve the drainage problem that currently exists in these two areas Lorca.
The collector will Fennel six miles long and a budget of 2.1 million euros.
For its part, the collector of La Hoya, with an investment of 2.1 billion euros, will stretch 2.8 miles and will cover the North and East of the deputation.
This project also includes construction of a pumping station and a drive driving a mile in length.
Both projects are funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.
The works are part of the Comprehensive Sanitation Plan Lorca, which is one of the main lines of action of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water with the aim of recovering the waste water so it can be reused and alleviate the serious problem of shortage to Lorca irrigation.
