The Adult Education Center Prince of the City of Murcia has delivered a significant donation to the Bureau for Development which is responsible for addressing the most pressing causes produced as a result of the May 11 earthquake.
Councillor for Economy and Finance of the City of Lorca, Luis Amador, was in charge of collecting the donation amounting to the amount of 2,825 EUR 60.
A delegation from the Adult Education Center Prince has used a visit to Lorca to hand over the donation from a supportive market conducted by this organization in recent weeks.
Amador wanted "to thank this group for its commitment to Lorca in these difficult times. They have shown unquestioning support our city and its collaboration with the Bureau for Development will be very important to be able to continue serving families that they are worse happening as a result of the earthquakes that struck Lorca during the May 11 ".
In this sense, Amador recalled that "through this type of donations received by the City, more than 3,000 Lorca have received aid to cover basic needs of wounded and deceased relatives who have lost their homes, as well as advances up to 8 months' rent for families with fewer resources. Furthermore, we have been able to initiate the first steps to support the trade. "
