The Ministry of Public Works and Planning has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Development, under the Housing and Rehabilitation Plan 2009-2012 managed by the Autonomous Community, which will increase aid to Lorca.
Through this agreement, all funds of the Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Development planned for the period 2011 in the Housing Plan and have not been requested by citizens, will go entirely to the city of Lorca in the year 2012 .
The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, explained that "the ministerial staff and accepts outgoing government's initial proposal to realign regional objectives, but leaves the new executive for the realignment of funds and economic realization."
However, Sevilla said that "this is great news for the people of Lorca, which will increase their chances of help, when not comply strictly with the requirements of Royal Decree-Law 6 and 17 2011."
Antonio Sevilla welcomed the signing of the agreement which will be a new State Housing Plan and regional and mitigate damage not covered by current aid to the city of Lorca.
Adaptation of the Housing Plan
The agreement allows to declare the Autonomous Community Integrated Rehabilitation Areas or Urban Renewal in the town of Lorca, which will support an increase in cases in which the currently regulated by Royal Decree Law 6 / 2011 have been insufficient.
Sevilla said that even "aid access will enable others to repair or rebuild homes for those citizens who, complying with the Housing Plan, have not been supported through the current legislation."
These grants are intended to repair homes and buildings, the development and redevelopment of public spaces, as well as the reconstruction of homes demolished.
