The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, proposed at the meeting of the Bureau for Development held yesterday afternoon in the delivery of a refundable aid of 800 euros for families affected by earthquakes lor1quinas of May 11 found a day outside their homes, either because they have been demolished or is damaged because of which should prevent its habitability.
The mayor has indicated that it is a help to meet needs not covered by another system.
To access the same beneficiaries only have to submit a copy of the lease or, in other cases, visited by municipal technicians to testify that the house is his place of habitual residence is not habitable for any damage caused by the quakes.
The Mayor reported that, according to estimates made by municipal technicians, between 800 and 1,000 families Lorca could be percipient of this aid, noting that payment of these funds will be faced with the Bureau for Development Economics, that these moments are around 1.5 million euros.
Francisco Jodar has indicated that this proposal was unanimously supported by all components of the Bureau for Development, which stressed the need to implement this new round of aid.
The beneficiary families may apply for this new economic assistance from the next week.
Final approval of this battery will become effective aid by approving a motion to that effect to be elevated to the Local Government Board, which meets, as every week, on Friday.
