The Mayor Councillor Policy of the City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, has been reported that the city council has launched the program of courses for the group of older people in our municipality for the first quarter of this year.
Jódar Ruiz explained that the total number of courses will be developed (some of them have already started) is 44, assuming around 1364 hours.
The selection of the theme of the courses offered by the City Council is determined based on the requests that are made by the various clubs and associations of people over the different sites of the municipality.
The conditions have been chosen this year are:
1) Gerontogimnasia, which will be disseminated through 24 courses, involving a total of 880 hours.
2) Manual, there will be 6 courses, looking at a total of 132 hours.
3) Computing with 5 courses involving 165 hours.
4) Cut and clothing, which will focus area on 2 courses, leading to a total of 44 hours.
5) Ballroom dancing also offer 2 courses involve 44 hours.
6) Report, 2 courses, looking at 33 hours.
7) Storyteller, a course of 22 hours.
8) Yoga, a course of 22 hours.
9) Paint, a course of 22 hours.
The Mayor Councillor pointed out that these courses are to carry out the local municipal care and service to the citizens, who are located both in the urban case and in the villages.
This program of activities for the group of older includes a budget of close to 24,000 euros.
