Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, has reported that the Consistory has concluded arrangement works and improvement of sports fields in the hamlets and Puri Morata Lorca, whose investment is part of the agreement signed with the Autonomous to improve these facilities.
Llamas explained that "specifically, Morata have been repaired two funds, the door and part of the side, with posts and new mesh, and has built a metal frame to protect the electrical panel."
With regard to the school sports ground Purias "has fixed the base, paving and marking of fields, both on the track and in the little big," said Councilman Sports.
Improvements in both facilities will join the rest of actions carried out in sports facilities in the districts of Marchena (Narciso Yepes College), La Paca (Gonzalez Petra College), almonds, Cazalla Zarcilla Ramonete Ramos and Parish, in the agreement between the Town Hall and the Regional Government Lorca worth 100,000 euros.
The mayor stressed that "this way, the city of Lorca continues its policy of enabling and improving the spaces and sports facilities in districts, thereby facilitating the practice of sport and physical activity and creating healthy lifestyles among the population living there."
In recent months the Consistory has also promoted the creation of the City of La Hoya Football and is completing the construction of sports hall in this parish.
Moreover, in the last four years the City has made the construction or improvement of nearly 30 sports facilities with an investment of close to 10 million euros, which has earned the municipality's statement of European City of Sport for 2013.
