Local Police developed a driver education program with students of 1 and 3 of the ESO in eleven centers, all offering this type of education in the municipality.

The City Council Public Safety of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, has reported that the Consistory has promoted this year a road safety program in 2075 involving high school students from eleven schools in the municipality, which includes all those teaching ESO in the municipality.
Specifically, Local Police are developing students 1 and 3 of the ESO a plan to promote road safety through the projection of videos and conducting training theoretical talks vial.
The aim is to improve road safety for children, awareness of the importance of traffic rules and knowledge, as well as developing appropriate behavioral habits for preventing accidents or minimizing its effects, especially for life and health of people.
The contents are presented to students in 1 of the ESO driving focus on bicycle (from their set-up and management, to the road rules, signs lighting and helmet use) as well as transport regulations school (behavior on the bus, inside of it and lose it).
For his part to the students that 3 of the ESO will be educated in the driving of mopeds (protective gear, tuning, motorcycle rates, rules and tips on driving, alcohol prohibition, documentation, insurance speeding common) and how to act in case of accident (obligation to treat the wounded and know what to do and what not).
Belén Pérez recalled that the municipality of Lorca has become in recent years in a national benchmark in terms of road safety education, achieving active participation of all its students.
In this sense he explained that in the coming weeks to introduce the new campaign to this end will also launch in Early Childhood and Primary Education.
