The City Council Public Safety of the City of Lorca, Maria Belen Perez, has reported that next Monday it will close to traffic the road section between the streets Puente La Alberca, Santo Domingo, Lope Gisbert, until oval of Santa Paula .
This closure is motivated by the need to review the state that are the facades of existing buildings, in order to avoid risks and ensure road safety.
In this regard, it has established a special device to complete this task, which will involve municipal technicians of the Department of Planning and Local police officers and the Consortium for Fire Fighting.
This action is included in the daily work that is being developed in the entire urban area of ​​the municipality by the council to review the status of building elements after the earthquake last May 11.
During the day on Monday will be operating 3 groups working with cranes moved towards Lorca especially for this task.
Specifically, the cutting of the sections of roads will be made, if no unforeseen consideration, as follows:
Between 9:15 and 13:00 will be closed to traffic on stretch between La Alberca and the confluence of the streets Lope Gisbert and Musso Valiente, will be open the crossings of the streets of Toledo to John Lane and Lope Boilermakers Gisbert with Musso Valiente.
Between 16:00 and 19:00 will be closed to traffic on installment of Lope Gisbert (from Palacio de Guevara) to oval Santa Paula.
It may travel through the intersection towards Cuesta San Francisco street poet Carlos Mellado.
In both cases, allow private vehicle access to the fords, while urban transport is diverted to Avenida Juan Carlos I.
