The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, has been reported that in the afternoon of March 6, 2012, met the Jury Prize for Short Story XI "Casino de Lorca" literary contest convened by the City Council Lorca, in collaboration with Casino de Lorca, and the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Community, through the "Triple Border Issues".

The jury was composed by Manuel Martinez Arnaldos, as chairman thereof, and Jose Luis Molina Martinez, Santos Campoy Garcia, Susana Torres Mora, Adolfo Muñoz levers, Pedro Felipe Sanchez Granados, Luisa M ª García Peñas, and Ginés García Agüera who acted as Secretary.
After appropriate selection, were finalists three novels: "The Notebooks of Mrs. Bell," with the motto "We are what we think", "Report of a wedding and a funeral", with the slogan "Antigonus" and "Hobo" with the slogan "Rufus Lomas."
Finally, the Jury, by absolute unanimity, awarded the prize for the novel entitled "Report of a wedding and a funeral", whose author, following the opening of escrow for, proved July Alejandre Calvino, born in Madrid and now Azuaga resident in the province of Badajoz.
The award-winning writer studied Educational Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and is currently working in school counseling.
