The Consistory recalls that it has been able to achieve a balanced budget despite the costs they had to incur by earthquakes, and debt of 105.4 million euros to be found the current municipal administration.

Councilman of the City of Economic Lorca, Luis Amador, has described as "lies" the criticism of Manuel Soler in accusing the City Council use the money for earthquake recovery to balance the municipal accounts.
Amador said that "we have said that the municipal accounts for 2011 have been closed with an accounting surplus of 5.8 billion euros, as there are a number of finalists games (which are around 6 million) that have to be included by law within the municipal accounts, or is that Mr. Soler want to conceal these items? This money now has its specific use (works in schools, estate recovery and care facilities and service to the citizen), by what the real situation of the City is a minimum deficit of 0.4%.
Luis Amador held that "it is logical that Mr. Soler will seem strange that we have fixed the ruin of his companions left us the PSOE, because he knows the seriousness of the nonsense that came to do."
