From the Municipal Group Socialist and the Socialist Group Lorca felt ashamed before the embarrassing media spectacle given yesterday by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, making a statement in which amended the flat and did retract the Speaker of the PP, Francisco Garcia, on the Regional Government's attitude towards Lorca's neighbors following the earthquake of May 11.
We are ashamed of the attitude shown by the Mayor, addressed to publicly correct, and then make out a press release in the same sense of his amendments, the mayor Francisco Garcia, the only councilor of the government team that has dared to the time, to portray the autonomous community with regard to aid to the city of Lorca.
We are ashamed that our Mayor, all Lorca, is unable to put the interests of the people of Lorca, who represents the Party to which it belongs.
We are ashamed that he was elected by Lorca at the most representative in our town, not up to what our city needs, and is an accomplice of the Regional Government's attitude, that all they are getting is delay much needed aid Lorca.
Therefore we recognize the courage of Mayor Garcia Lorca and commitment, but this leads us to ask for his resignation, for personal coherence for policy coherence and definitively to uncover the shame of that from which it receives instructions from the City of Lorca .
Finally, we are deeply saddened that our town, Lorca, has received very little luck in recent years.
Not only has suffered the worst natural disaster in its history but it has to deal with it, with a president unable to put the interests of those who, twice, so the majority have chosen to govern their destinies.
Lorca is now the first Mayor of its democratic history that proves to be more subservient to their acronyms for his people, the more submissive to his superiors and less committed to their city.
