The Government delegate, Joaquin Garcia Bascuñana, today announced that at its meeting last Friday, the Cabinet authorized the implementation of the Contingency Fund to finance various modifications of credit.

Bascuñana added that among these changes includes a credit of the Ministry of Interior in the amount of 11'4 million that are intended to cover the costs of earthquakes occurred in Lorca in May last year.

Specifically, this amount is intended to cover the payment of rental housing, replacement of equipment and repair shops, of which the State Administration pays 50% and the costs incurred by emergency actions and damage to cultural heritage by unfavorable weather conditions, of which 100% is payable.
