Councilman Environment of the City of Lorca, Melchor Morales, along with Director General for Modernization of Farms and Agricultural Training of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Angel Garcia Lidón, this morning visited the facilities of the Center for Equine Insemination Center for Integrated Agricultural Training and Experience Sun City, on the occasion of the arrival of the horses that make individuals stop stallions of the Spanish army.
The councilor explained that the specimens involved in this stop are two donkeys, two purebred Spanish horses, a horse and a purebred Hispano-Arab, which is scheduled to perform between 200 and 300 inseminations, with 80% of success, during the quarter that will be in these facilities.
Morales explained that "this is a service that has been offered for several years by agreement with the Consistory Lorca for the benefit of farmers throughout the region, and has managed to improve equine Lorca. In fact currently the equine Lorca is the most important of the entire region. The price of rides varies from 86 euros to 228 euros, depending on the specimen.
During this time also will be in the Lorca CIFEA four Spanish thoroughbred stallion of the stud of Bejar and another in Carthage.
