IU-Green has signed a document entitled "Declaration of Lorca" by which the formation reiterates its commitment to public employment policies that promote local economic recovery and transparency of government.
This document was approved last weekend as part of a conference on organized municipal politics in the city of the sun through IU-Green for elected officials and employees of local groups.
In relation to employment, the statement includes proposals for the creation of a local council made up of institutions and social and political organizations, trade unions and employers, in order to develop a plan sponsor employment.
It also foresees the promotion of local development, the pursuit and promotion of new employment and support self-employment through the promotion of business activities framed in the social economy.
On local economy, the paper proposes the promotion of a progressive tax and solidarity; secure funding for local authorities and the payment of improper powers that run the municipalities.
