The Councillors of Health and Citizenship of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez and Ana Maria Lidón, presented the launch of an awareness campaign neighborhood called "Your pet ... a citizen" to remember the obligations under the municipal ordinance tenure of bringing pets vaccinated, with collar and leash, identified with microchips and collect the droppings of the street.
Lopez explained that this initiative will be distributing leaflets and posters, reminding pet owners of their obligations regarding your pet and penalties for breach.

Lidón stressed that this campaign will be done on request and with the collaboration of the collective members of the Bureau of Labor Neighborhood Lorca, stressing that it is a preventive information campaign in order to go to punitive measures.
The mayor has emphasized "the importance of these measures for proper civic life because having a pet is a responsibility."
In a second action is carried out activities that promote awareness and compliance with the ordinance on the protection of citizen security and prevention of antisocial activities, in order to achieve a more cohesive Lorca about the coexistence of its neighbors, more respectful to people, environment and urban furniture and cleaner, making the environment in a far more civil, pleasant and appealing.
Ana Maria Lidón stressed that sanitation and good image of the city depends on the involvement of all Lorca, respecting the environment of others and ultimately achieve good living habits.
The representative of the Bureau of Labor Neighborhood, Francisco Martinez, thanked the City's initiative and has shown the willingness of neighborhood associations to continue working with the Town Hall to improve the municipality.
