The Joint Commission established by Royal Decree Law 6/2011 laying without urgent action to repair the damage caused by earthquakes of last May in Lorca has studied this afternoon a total of 1,123 records requests for help stricken homes and commercial premises as a result of earthquakes.
In such cases, the Joint Commission has given approval to 320 requests for repair, reconstruction and five for 200 for rent.
In addition, 23 grants have been approved for trading.
The remainder, a total of 575, records are denied.
The Commission, which was formed last May 25 in Lorca, has the task of assessing and quantifying the aid granted to individuals by virtue of applications, lease, reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair of houses which constitute the habitual residence and and for the replenishment of household necessities.
In the eighth session of the Committee held this afternoon the two co-chairs have participated, the government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, and the Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Seville, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar and other representatives and technicians from the three administrations

The files examined in the seven meetings resolute housing records of the Joint Commission totaling 8,631, accounting for aid totaling EUR 29,422,541, broken down as follows:
- Total aid to repair homes: 3572 (22,564,029 euros).
- Total aid to the reconstruction of houses: 10 (719,626 euros)
- Total support for rental housing: 869 (6,138,885 euros).
- Total Records Denied: 4,180.
Apart from housing assistance approved this afternoon, the Joint Commission has given approval to trade 23 assists.
