The Governing Council agreed to authorize the hiring and spending of the works of the proposed general collector to clean up the avenue of Biznaga Lorca, in its lower reaches.
The project has a budget of 6.3 million, funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union, and run in the annual 2012 and 2013.
The lower manifold, 6.4 kilometers long, is part of the sanitation infrastructure of the population scattered in the garden of Lorca.
With this infrastructure will be collected flows of three main collectors, that of Purias, the Eagles road and collector south of Lorca, and transported to the pumping station to spur them to Lorca purification.
This action, which will enable about 140,000 people may have rushed to the network, is part of the General Plan of cleansing and purifying of the Region of Murcia.
The construction of this manifold is a step in the work undertaken by the regional government to improve the quality of life and have more and better quality water.
