The nursing homes Caser of Lorca has reopened its center located in malls Sun City, upon completion of rehabilitation work of its facilities to repair damage resulting from the earthquake last May 11.
During the time that have lasted the remodeling work, residents have been staying at another facility that the company has in Murcia, Holy Angel, always ensuring the quality of care and service for residents and their families.
The work has involved an investment of two million euros and have been building to include some reforms that increase the welfare and comfort of its occupants.
To mark the reopening was held an official visit in which Valentin Garcia, Director of Residential Caser has accompanied a trip into town to Maria Angeles Sanchez Palacios, Ministry of Health and Social Policy of the Community of Murcia, Francisco Alonso Jódar , Mayor of Lorca.
Jodar has emphasized that "this is a step in the work to Lorca returns to normal as before the earthquake, always improvements that can be done."
Valentin Garcia, thanked the support from local and regional authorities during the rehabilitation period and noted that "both in the aftermath of the earthquake, which was carried out the evacuation of residents as quickly as during the months have had to be housed in our residence of Holy Angel, our priorities have been their welfare and quality of life with the maintenance of jobs. Now this reopening is a great satisfaction for us, and we again welcome our residents to the center of Alameda, which will continue to receive quality care and service that characterizes the Residential Caser centers. Valentin Garcia also thanked the professionals for their special dedication and commitment, both during the earthquake, and during the period of rehabilitation center.
Caser Residencial Alameda
Caser Residencial Alameda, with a total area of ​​6,872 m2, has 107 rooms on ground floor, first and second, of which 32 are doubles and 75 singles and a capacity of 139 places for elderly dependents.
It also has seven other bedrooms with 14 beds on the third floor.
The residence currently has 100 seats arranged with the Murcian Institute of Social Action.
The center, currently living in 95 people older than 78 professionals employed until the reopening have been serving in the Holy Angel.
Caser Residencial Alameda offers residents specialized care services, among which are: Medical and nursing, geriatric assessment, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, medication management and processing of prescriptions, podiatry, menus tailored to the needs of our residents, socio-cultural, religious service, laundry service, hairdresser, parking for residents and families.
