Employment Councilmember City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, this morning visited the facility in Alameda of the Constitution of the eight double lamps reproduce aesthetically damaged by earthquakes, although they have been improved both in terms of its stability and with regard to energy efficiency and increased illumination of the central pathway.
Ibarra explained that "20 Lorca participants in training programs for unemployed 'ATHENA Workshop School' and the Vocational Training Workshops, along with staff from local locksmith shop, participated in this work is intended to help restore image of this area prior to the May 11 earthquake. "
Professionals specialized in quarrying, electricity and locks have been involved in this action which will increase the lighting in this way while have implemented energy efficiency systems.
The work consisted in removing the remains of ancient lamps, conducting new foundation and cut manufacturing and support, shaft and crown on top of limestone from the lamppost, reproducing the previous model.
It has also handmade lanterns and arms, played the previous model.
Lorca unemployed participants in these training programs have also designed and installed the fixtures, optimizing lighting malls, making a deal of light and shade appropriate to the uniqueness of the location, while new wiring installed to optimize the energy control of the streetlights.
