Councilman Trade of the City of Lorca, Eduardo Sanchez, reported this week that the Consistory has approved the first set of grants for uninsured businesses damaged by the May 11 earthquake, which in the coming days are going to 44 benefit businesses, which will receive a total of around 220,000 euros.

Sanchez explained that "the technical committee that evaluated the rehabilitation of damage caused by earthquakes in stores without insurance, are also integrated in the Chamber of Commerce and Ceclor, will meet again in seven days, after technicians have found the wreckage reported by those affected and evaluated the budgets submitted work. The mayor recalled that "in the deadline for submission of applications for businesses damaged by earthquakes is Monday, April 30, whether they were insured or not."

The documentation can be presented at the Cultural Center of the City from 9:00 to 15:00.

So far 214 applications have been received from businesses without insurance and 252 of insured institutions.
