"We finally have a government that treats the earthquake as a matter of state"
The MP for Murcia, Teodoro Garcia Egea, today welcomed the approval of Royal Decree to expedite the payment of aid to the victims of the earthquake in Lorca because their recognition "is achieved by starting the reconstruction," which "to the date had not been achieved with no decree, "he said.
Speaking during the discussion of validation, the popular leader stressed that the initiative approved by the Council of Ministers on 30 March which showed that "citizens of Lorca and Murcia are not alone in the aftermath of the earthquake because there a government that understands the plight of victims "and that has also taken" the earthquake as a matter of state, because it is a matter of state. "
In his address, the popular MP recalled that the earthquake left 9 people dead and affected public buildings, homes and historical heritage and therefore this decree "was urgent and pressing as it was to implement a streamlined procedure to ensure that the aid approved immediately reach their target. "
"We feel hope, Teodoro Garcia continued, because the decree does that citizens begin to imagine Lorca rising after the disaster."
So, he said, among other measures contained in Royal Decree, the introduction of corrective measures of a fiscal nature, such as the extension of tax benefits in the IBI and the IAE, the deferral of tax debts or assistance to implement projects of special interest to the commercial sector.
