The coordinator of IU-Green in the Region of Murcia, Jose Antonio Booming, today demanded to public authorities to apply a "no excuse" an urgent plan to rebuild Lorca, and to do "with the same diligence" with which help the financial sector.

Booming indicated that the situation in the city of the sun "remains dire" after a year of earthquakes, and regional and central governments have to promote "once and for all" their recovery through greater investment, outside the economic context.

Has backed the creation of a public company, in collaboration with the private sector, lead the reconstruction process of Lorca, in order that this "does not develop in a chaotic and disorderly as is happening so far."

Also pointed out that the result of "mismanagement" and the slow recovery process of the municipality, the third in the Region of Murcia in population, more than 7,000 people remain displaced and 1,200 houses demolished have not been rebuilt .
