The Plaza of Spain of Lorca has received this afternoon a mass in memory of the nine people killed in the earthquake of May 11, 2011.

The religious ceremony was oficido by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena and also attended by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, Minister of Industry and President of the Autonomous Region, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, in addition to the families of the victims , civil and military authorities, together with representatives of social and cultural life of the city, among the 1,500 attendees.

On the altar were installed the banners of the guilds of Holy Week kicks Lorca, made with embroidery typical of this city.
