The Ministry of Universities and Research Company today introduced the members of Regional Confederation of Business Organizations (Ceclor), the program of support the central government has allocated for the revival of industry in the town of Lorca.
It is an aid package by the central government committed to allocate 13 million euros in 2012 to re-industrialization of the production Lorca, with a commitment to renewal in 2013.
Thus, the total amount of incentives would amount to 26 million euros in two years.
The Minister for Universities and Research Company, José Ballesta, explained that "through this aid package is to reactivate the productive sector of the municipality, thus reinforcing its role as engine of economic and social revival of Lorca."
This line of incentives will be aimed at the recovery of industrial infrastructure affected by earthquakes, and the development of new business projects.
To do this, one million euros is intended by way of grants and the remaining 12 million in repayable loans, engulfing latter up to 100 percent fundable budget, with an interest rate of 0 percent.
The loans, which provide for a grace period for beneficiaries are not required to pay anything for the first five years, have a maximum duration of 15 years and allow, if not exceeded the amount of the subsidized activity, competition with other public support local, regional, national or Community.
José Ballesta, said the aim of the meeting held today with Ceclor is "to inform business so it does not miss a single industrial or infrastructure initiative in the municipality because of ignorance about aid implemented."
