Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Augustine Flames, has reported that yesterday morning was held the 3rd route of the "Bike and Nature 2012", organized by the Sports Department and the Association Lorca - Santiago.
The route was a distance of 35 km.
away and 747 meters of accumulated ascent and got its start and finish in the hamlet of Zarcilla Palm, the largest extension of the area with 109 km2, and it took the mayor himself, Francisco Jodar.
The route started at about 9: 15 h.
from the door of the Church of Zarcilla toward the yeseras and from there to the corner up the road Carranzas Reverte ravine next to salt water, later to take the road from the quarry towards the precipice of the Pebbles.
Here took place the supplies in order to replenish energy and power deal after promotion to the quarry to the hill of Bowling to 1,013 meters.
From here began the descent down a pretty path up the hill from the rail, ending a stretch of road in Palm Zarcilla.
The next route will be on June 17, with the traditional ascent to Pradico, where participants can enjoy a traditional lunch of sausages and grilled meat.
