The spokesman for the formation magenta Lorca, Juan Manuel Cabrera, wants to clarify that what was voted yesterday in the development commission was a proposition of the PSOE to add this branch line rail corridor in the Mediterranean.
UPyD voted against this proposal by refusing to include the Socialist Party as a preliminary feasibility study project study to be performed precisely the regional government in the hands of the PSOE.
UPyD spokesman Manuel Soler reminds that this line was dismantled because of the lack of economic profitability and to the neglect of the infrastructure for the same Andalusian and then governed by the Socialists.
UPyD advocates a policy of investment in infrastructure based on studies of their social and economic returns rather than a territorial division that serves more meaningless electoral interests to solve the problems of citizens, as have previous socialist governments as proposed by the current government to do so in the popular party.
"We must avoid repeating the images associated with this policy of waste, abounding airport without airplanes, trains or roads without passengers without vehicles paid for with public money and only serve to feed personal egos of politicians in power and try to satisfy a handful of votes, "said Juan Manuel Cabrera.
UPyD supports and defends the importance of the Mediterranean corridor but feels it is essential as a prelude to the expansion of the project with a cost, demand and economic viability to justify the enormous increase investment and much more in times of crisis we in which cuts in basic services for citizens.
Manuel Soler what to do is ask the Andalusian socialist government to demonstrate project feasibility report prepared order and serves the interests of all citizens, instead of demagoguery in search of a handful of votes.
