Councillor of Commerce and Handicrafts of the City of Lorca, Eduardo Sanchez, has reported that yesterday afternoon there was a further meeting of the Evaluation Commission Improvement Plan and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Commerce.
This is a body that has responsibility for approving and channeling aid cases presented by all traders interested in accessing the aid provided for that purpose by the government.
Sanchez Abad explained in this connection that the Assessment Committee comprises representatives of major socio-economic actors linked to the subject, as in the case of Ceclor, Chamber of Commerce and the City Council.
The Edil of Commerce explained that in the work session held in the afternoon yesterday at the premises of the Single Desk for Reconstruction, he cleared a total of 17 new cases of aid to the value set of 97,205, 15 euros, giving an average of € 5,717.95 per trader affected by earthquakes.
It should be noted here that the aid amount as provided for maximum record number of 8,000 €.
Sanchez Abad said that the meetings of the Evaluation Committee are conducted on a weekly basis, responsible for the distribution of nearly 3 million available that have been granted by the Autonomous Solidarity Fund from the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, corresponding to years 2011 and 2012.
Councillor of Commerce has detailed individual projects approved by the Assessment Committee to date involve a total of 139, considering the amount of 670,829.85 euros.
