The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, has received this morning the new Secretary General of the Socialist Group Lorca, Daniel Fajardo Martinez, who has held a working meeting on the main themes of the city today.
Both have agreed that the current economic and social situation makes it necessary, now more than ever, both the municipal government and the opposition to focus their activity in work for the progress of our city, parking partisan attitudes in favor of consensus and unity of acting.
In the specific issue of recovery of the town and its reconstruction after the earthquakes, this event also served to underline the need to go back to normal Lorca and Lorca that get affected by the earthquakes follow suit soon.
In this sense they have agreed to establish fluid communication channels on the matter.
The Mayor has informed the new Secretary General of the local PSOE on the situation at the moment, including payments of grants, loans granted by the European Investment Bank, and the presentation of projects for the reconstruction of the institutes Francisco Ros Giner and José Ibáñez Martín.
