The Municipal Extraordinary held this morning approved the municipal budget for 2012, with 16 votes in favor, for the popular group, and 9 against, those of the Socialist Group and IU.
This budget amounts to 67'6 million, while the aggregate budget, including items related to SEPOR, Limusa Emergency and Municipal Society amounts to 78'89 million.
In detail, the City Council budget amounts to the amount of 67,636,887 euros, 244,800 euros of SEPOR, Limusa 10,839,508 '96 and the Society of Emergency 170,000, to form an aggregate of 78,891,195 Euro '96.
Of the total budget of the City, 10'9 million will be spent on capital transactions, including both investment and repayment of loans.
Investment in current expenditure in the various items is 56'7 million, targeting 25'33 million personal item that is reduced by 2.4 million over 2011; 16'72 million to purchase goods and services, reduced by 4 million; 3'62 million to 11 million financial interests and current transfers, which are reduced by 2.7 million, thereby achieving savings 9'1 million in the total of these items .
The savings in the budget is mainly achieved by reducing current expenditure, with measures taken this year and put out to tender the contract mobile addition of parks and gardens, renegotiate rents and eliminate some of them, reduce the contributions municipal companies as Limusa, thanks to the good management is carried out will have to pay € 300,000 less this year by cleaning the streets and municipal buildings, while maintaining quality of service, etc..
